To back-up on-site medical personnel, production companies shooting at Baja Studios have previously entered into agreements with s located in San Diego. Within their network of medical facilities, they represent Sharp Chula Vista Hospital, minutes from the border and the closest U.S. trauma center; Grossmont Hospital in San Diego, which has a fully-staffed re compression chamber and Sharp’s Rees Stealy Occupational Health Facility for non-emergency medical needs. You will have access to Sharp facilities 24-hours a day; access to Care Medical Transportation Ambulance Service and The Bi-national Emergency Medical Care Committee, a non-profit corporation dedicated to evacuate Americans to the U.S. if they become sick or injured while in México.

NOTE: Since a seriously ill or injured person being evacuated across the border may not have his or her passport or I.D. on hand, we strongly recommend that you place a label on the back of all your studio I.D. badges containing each person’s number. Also include the name and number of your Sharp contact with a note that he/she can be called “for serious medical emergencies when not on the studio lot “.
