Mexican film unions require a local physician be on site during construction and filming. The production cost for this service is negotiated as part of the union contract. The studio has a small clinic facility where production-employed medical personnel can base themselves. The studio has a fire engine on-site and can help make arrangements for additional fire and safety equipment if needed.
Baja Studios complies with work rules under Mexican law. Producers are responsible for implementing rules and standards for the safety of the production crew.
